Elegance and relax
Portami in Collina is a tourist accommodation surrounded by the the green of the valley of Marcellise, at the gates of Verona.
Completely renovated with great attention to detail, or facility is located in an historic courtyard, where there once was the family mill. G.B. Stegnagno wrote about it in 1928 on his guide "Oleificio and wines of Rossi Pietro Luigi and son Lamberto", as it appeared to be the only industry of the town of Marcellise. We are their direct descendants: Lamberto was my father’s grandfather (who bears his name).

TERRITORY
Nature and wellness
Marcellise has always been a green valley, and can be considered as an uncontaminated land even today. It has traditions that still resist in time; traditions that even the town of San Martino itself has lost.
I remember -as a child- that it was known as the valley of cherries: there were so many plants that, while blooming, it seemed that it was snowing.
The later development of viticulture made the cherry trees leave place to our enchanting vineyards, which follow the winding course of the hills. Every inhabitant of Marcellise -however- has kept some cherry trees to remember the past time
OUR OIL
Tastings and direct sales
The organic farm has all its patches in Marcellise. The grapes are given to the “Collis Wine Group” winery; olives, instead, after burning are brought to the “Fontanara” mill for the pressing and bottling.
Our olive grove is a single plot of about 1 hectare, with 150 secular plants; it’s located in the upper part of Marcellise- about 300 meters above the sea level, on green fields. The varieties we have are Grignano, Frantoio, Leccio and Casaliva.
